The staple binding lies flat when I fold it open, which makes writing on both sides a breeze. It's compact enough to slip into my coat pocket but still feels sturdy for daily notes.
The recycled paper has a lovely texture, and the staple binding feels surprisingly sturdy for such a compact notebook. I've already filled half of mine with grocery lists and quick sketches during my morning commute. It's the perfect size to tuck into a jacket pocket.
The vintage composition-book look is charming, and the 5 1/4” x 7” size slips into my bag without bulging. I do wish the staple binding felt a bit sturdier for tossing around, but the recycled paper takes pencil nicely.
