The size is exactly what makes it work—4 inches by 2¼, small enough to tuck into a coat pocket, yet the poem inside feels properly weighty. I've read it three times now and each pass lands differently depending on my mood. It's the kind of quiet gift you give someone you're still figuring out.
I wasn’t sure how a book this small could hold so much feeling, but the comparison between the two personalities really got me thinking about my own relationships. It’s the kind of thing you read twice—once for the poetry, once for the quiet truth in it.
It’s tiny enough to slip into a coat pocket, which made it a nice coffee-shop read. The shy-versus-outgoing take is thoughtful, though I wished it went a bit deeper than the 4-inch pages allow. Still, a sweet little gift for someone you’re figuring out.
